Hold-open systems and accessories for fire doors

Our extensive product range includes a selection of individual components for stand alone as well as complete hold-open systems for complex fire protection installations. We also have a range of Ex-rated equipment for installation in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Smoke & heat detectors
Dictator smoke and heat detectors have been tested in accordance with European Standard EN 54. The detectors are approved for use as interruption devices in hold-open systems on fire closures. There is also an ex-proof version available.
Central units
All essential functions (power supply, control and evaluation of attached devices) are combined in one device, so that one only needs to connect the electromagnets and smoke detectors.
Ex-proof hold-open systems
For hazardous areas, Dictator furnishes a hold-open system especially designed for this purpose that meets the requirements of the ATEX directive 2014/34/EU.

Door dampers for fire doors
Fire doors furnished with door closers often slam shut loudly. Dictator door dampers include models that are tested and approved for use in a wide range of fire doors to avoid this problem.
Accessories for fire doors
To make the work of installing hold-open systems as simple as possible, we supply a wide range of accessories such as hand release switches and mounting brackets for electromagnets.
HLS thermal bolt
Due to the high temperatures and differences in air pressure during a fire, large fire doors can sometimes distort, causing a break in the fire seal. The HLS thermal bolt prevents this by securely and automatically locking the door into the frame.
