En outre, certaines des portes \u00e9taient int\u00e9gr\u00e9es dans une surface murale ronde, ce qui signifie qu\u2019elles \u00e9taient \u00e9galement courbes. Par cons\u00e9quent, ni un ferme-porte standard ni une motorisation de porte standard ne pouvaient \u00eatre install\u00e9s ici. Ces motorisations devaient respecter les normes ATEX et les r\u00e8gles de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 incendie strictes. Elles ouvrent les portes coupe-feu via un moteur, tandis que la fermeture s\u2019effectue m\u00e9caniquement avec un contrepoids.<br>Ainsi, les portes se ferment toujours en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9, m\u00eame en cas de panne de courant et alarme incendie. Le r\u00e9ducteur antid\u00e9flagrant devait fonctionner sans \u00e0-coups pour permettre une fermeture correcte avec le contrepoids. En raison de l\u2019\u00e9norme largeur de la porte de 11,5 m, une motorisation coupe-feu \u00ab\u00a0normale\u00a0\u00bb avec un dispositif de fermeture m\u00e9canique n\u2019\u00e9tait pas r\u00e9alisable ici. Elle a donc \u00e9t\u00e9 divis\u00e9e en deux moiti\u00e9s, chacune se fermant vers le centre. Chaque moiti\u00e9 comporte six vantaux t\u00e9lescopiques, chacun mesurant jusqu\u2019\u00e0 10 m de large. Un autre d\u00e9fi \u00e9tait de synchroniser le mouvement des deux vantaux.
